Purpose of the Role
To support the organisation and achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Development of business requirements to address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
- Support creation of reports on project progress to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creation of operational and process designs to ensure solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
- Support change‑management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities for Trials Manager
Join us as a Trials Manager to help shape and build enhancements and improvements upon one of our newly launched Android and legacy products. You will look after and help shape the development, user experience and user interfaces on a range of POS card acceptance terminals. Each new software released will deliver new features and enhancements that will undergo User Acceptance Testing and production field before signing off into BAU. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers and product owners to understand their requirements and must demonstrate the ability to challenge and provide recommendations where appropriate while managing trials analysts who are undertaking UAT and trial monitoring.
Required Experience and Skills
- High level of Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to understand technical reference documents
- Experience in UAT/UI/UX reviews, testing and improvements
- Stakeholder management skills
- Satisfy the FCA criteria for an approved person, both initially and on‑going
- Working knowledge of mPOS/PDQ/POS/EPOS products
- Working knowledge of APACS, EMV & Card Scheme Rules & Regulations
Additional assessed skills: risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job‑specific technical skills.
