The business has a strong presence on the South Coast, undertaking projects valuing up to £15mil across both the public and private sectors including education, healthcare, residential and commercial. The contractor has ambitious growth plans and are looking for driven and ambitious individuals to join the business and support this growth.
About the role of Bid Manager
As the region grows, they’re now looking to bring an additional Bid Manager into the Pre-Construction team. As Bid Manager you will be responsible for managing the bid process from the earliest stages, co-ordinating the wider team to lead tenders.
Key Responsibilities as Bid Manager
- Co-ordinating the wider pre-construction team to pull together compelling bids
- Leading client interviews and maintaining relationships
- Work winning
Key Requirements for this Bid Manager role
- Construction related degree / qualifications
- Have worked in a Bid Manager role previously
- Have experience overseeing multiple bids concurrently
- Must be able to prove a track record of work winning ability
- Must have the full right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Southampton
