Availability Window

  • Sunday: 06:00 – 23:00
  • Monday: 06:00 – 23:00
  • Friday: 06:00 – 23:00
  • Saturday: 06:00 – 23:00

Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you can also work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) if that suits you. We would still love to hear from you.

Rate of Pay and Hours

We schedule your contracted hours within the availability window and give you three weeks’ notice of your shifts. We support flexibility: if the times you’re available to work closely match the advertised times, we are happy to consider you.

As a Shift Leader, you will be working in a fast‑paced retail environment where no day is the same.

You will take ownership of activities by coordinating a team to deliver and constantly look for ways to improve service through on‑the‑job coaching and feedback.

You will understand how your team is performing and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement.

With your guidance, your area will always remain a safe place to work and shop.

  • Role model great, natural customer service ensuring each customer’s needs are met.
  • Build strong, long‑lasting relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and encourage them to be at their best.
  • Communicate clearly and use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
  • Be confident in taking the lead when you are in charge.
  • Be flexible in thought, make decisions efficiently and handle change to keep everything right for customers and colleagues.
  • Have energy and drive to deliver beyond expectations and effectively balance priorities.
