Java Developer/L3 Production Support Engineer

1. Candidate should have Production Support experience. 2. Candidate should be able to do coding during the interview call with the client. 3. Candidate should be able to debug and fix production issues. 4. Candidate should have minimum 2 years of Java Development experience using Java 8 & above. 5. Candidate should have overall experience of less than 15 years.

• 7-10 years hands-on Development, L3 and/or L2+ support experience who is ready to pick up L3 responsibilities.
• Java 8 & above development experience minimum 2+ years and Production Support L3 minimum 2+ years experience.
• Advanced Java/J2EE experience (REST API, Servlet, JavaScript/HTML, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, Spring).
• Advanced level experience working with multi server/Tier environments: Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere and WebLogic servers.
• Advanced hands-on experience in Databases (DB2, Oracle and Sybase, etc).
• Mid-to-Advanced Unix and Scripting (Shell/Perl, etc).
• Good hands-on understanding and making changes in Shell/Perl scripts.
• Good experience in job scheduler monitoring tools (Autosys, Procmon, Crontab, etc).
• Advanced hands-on experience with IDEs like Eclipse and NetBeans.
• Mid-to-Advanced experience using Git, Jenkins and other repository/deployment tools.
• Good exposure to production tooling (ticketing/monitoring) like Jira, ServiceNow and processes (Incident/Problem Management and Change Management).
• Good experience in making code changes (Java, Unix, DB) in production and able to run end-to-end steps as per SDLC process.
