Job Overview

Product Development Manager for a Wrexham-based arts and crafts company. The role involves collaborating with the Product Marketing Manager to implement the long‑term global product development plan, prioritising workload to meet tight schedules, and successfully delivering the global product pipeline on time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager to implement the long‑term global product development plan.
• Prioritise workload to meet tight schedules and deliver the global product pipeline on time.
• Apply organisational and market knowledge to ensure effective product implementation.
• Oversee all facets of a quality product’s lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Product or Project Management.
• 3+ years of experience in product management or related activities.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Proven track record of overseeing all facets of a quality product’s lifecycle.
• Organised, analytical and detail‑oriented with precise and methodical project follow‑up.
• Creative thinker with problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑project, collaborative environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Capability to work successfully in a multicultural workgroup.
• Aesthetic sense and awareness of current trends.
• Knowledge of Mandarin (both verbal and written).

Preferences

• Preferably, work experience in the Arts and Crafts industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous.
