As a Security Officer with ISS UK, you will play a key role in creating a safe and secure environment, protecting colleagues, patients, visitors, and our customer’s property, people, and assets through professional security operations.
This role is responsible for delivering a high-quality security service to patients, staff, visitors, and contractors across hospital premises and car parks, in line with Security Industry Authority (SIA) guidelines, company procedures, and Trust specifications.
Responsibilities
- Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
- Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
- Prevent any unauthorised access
- Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
- Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
- Assist visitors with general enquiries in a professional, approachable, and helpful manner, ensuring a positive experience for everyone visiting the hospital site
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous security experience
- A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA licence
- Knowledge and experience with security systems and related technology
- Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
- A team player with good customer service skills, Disability Confident
