Overview
A supported living provider in the Stevenage area is seeking an experienced Supported Living Manager to oversee services supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. This is a well-supported management position overseeing a small service, ideal for someone stepping up from a Team Leader or Deputy Manager role, or an existing manager seeking a stable and supportive environment.
About the Role
As Supported Living Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day management of services supporting approximately 8-10 clients, ensuring high standards of person‑centred care and support. You will work closely with an experienced Team Lead and report directly to the Operations Manager, contributing to service quality, staff development, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across supported living services
- Ensure delivery of safe, person‑centred support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs
- Supervise and support care and support staff
- Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards
- Monitor care plans, risk assessments, and service documentation
- Support staff development, rota management, and performance monitoring
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or Supported Living Manager
- Background within learning disabilities and/or mental health services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and CQC compliance
- Good leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
