Production Line Supervisor

CDS Labour is currently looking for a Production Line Supervisor to support the Production Manager and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

The Role of Production Line Supervisor

• Leading, motivating and supporting the production team.
• Managing daily line activities to achieve production targets.
• Delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance.
• Conducting probation reviews, training and coaching team members.
• Ensuring stock is used correctly and efficiently.
• Championing Health & Safety standards within the department.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
• Supporting the Production Manager and providing cover when required.

What we need from you

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a busy production environment.
• Previous experience within food production/manufacturing.
• Experience operating plant machinery.
• Good standard of English and Maths.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
