Senior Liquidity Manager

We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Liquidity Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the liabilities strategy across the UK and European footprint, translating priorities into clear plans, milestones and outcomes.
  • Drive portfolio optimization across segments/currencies (mix, stability, attrition, utilization), balancing commercial growth with liquidity and risk considerations.
  • Lead cross-market initiatives to improve deposit performance and protect franchise value in changing rate and competitive environments.
  • Lead deposit pricing governance (committees/forums), ensuring robust controls, clear decisioning and appropriate documentation.
  • Partner with Market/Group Treasury on FTP, hedging and balance sheet topics to optimize deposit economics and support strategic objectives.
  • Provide senior guidance to Sales/Coverage on pricing and deposit strategy; shape communications and training to embed pricing discipline.
  • Own the end-to-end performance management cadence for the liability’s portfolio: dashboards/MI, deep-dives, insights and senior readouts.
  • Set the analytics agenda (data quality, automation, prioritization) in partnership with Technology/Analytics teams to improve decision‑making speed and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in liquidity/liability management, treasury, finance, cash management and/or product management within a regulated financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of deposit economics and pricing levers (including FTP/hedging concepts) and how they translate into commercial outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and geographies; confident operating in governance forums.
  • Strong analytical capability with a track record of turning complex data into actionable insights and clear executive communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working across UK and European markets in a multi‑entity environment.
  • Familiarity with liquidity‑related regulatory themes impacting deposits.
  • Experience driving MI automation and data improvements with Technology/Analytics teams.
