C#/Angular front office developer

Job Description

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high‑quality software solutions using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, designers and other engineers to define requirements, devise solution strategies and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability and reliability.
• Develop, enhance and maintain the Compass UI (X‑Wing) platform – an intraday risk & PNL system used in a front‑office trading environment.
• Support existing users, deliver new functionality and provide Level3 production support, including incident investigation, root‑cause analysis and close collaboration with trading, product and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Angular/HTML5 Core C# GUI development experience.
• Knowledge of WinForms/WPF and front‑office application experience.
• Advanced C# skills with multi‑threaded programming.
• Background in risk and controls, change and transformation, and business acumen is desirable.
• Strong digital and technology skills and strategic thinking.
