Job Overview
We are looking for a PA to support two brothers with BFL Syndrome. The role involves engaging with their hobbies and getting into the community.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work alongside another PA, alternating support between both children.
- Access the community and engage in the children’s chosen activities such as trampolining, swimming, visiting shops, and playtime within the home.
- Support the children in obtaining community treats such as sweet treats or cakes.
- All smoking must be outside and must not occur in the presence of the children.
Required Training / Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young people with learning disabilities.
- Previous experience / knowledge using Makaton.
Additional Information
The role is 12 hours per week, 6 hours per child, and you will be working alongside another PA. There is one puppy in the home.
