Security clearance: Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.
Location: Newport, South Wales (some hybrid working available subject to our Hybrid Working Policy). Type: Full time.

Role Summary
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space at our Newport site. This is an entry‑level role with mentoring from experienced experts, working on diverse customer queries across multiple products and investigating reported problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Airbus Cyber Security’s cryptographic products protecting critically sensitive national and commercial information.
- Support users and maintain equipment on internal and external classified networks.
- Assist in incident management through the process lifecycle.
- Triage faults and reproduce them in a system reference model.
- Patch and test systems to ensure no issues remain.
Key Qualifications
- Keen to learn.
- Knowledge or interest in networking, Windows Server, virtualisation, cyber security, IT support.
