Full Stack Engineer (C#/WPF UI) – VP
Engineer the future of global finance. As part of Citi’s Tech team, you will collaborate with high‑calibre engineers and business partners to define and deliver the next generation of Equities technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction for a dispersed team of developers.
- Forecast technical advances and innovations for the user interface.
- Conduct code reviews of development performed by others.
- Resolve high‑impact problems and projects through in‑depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint and provide expertise in application programming.
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on advanced system flow knowledge.
- Build comprehensive knowledge of how business areas, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
- Provide in‑depth analysis and interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as an adviser or coach to mid‑level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
- Assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgement, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject‑matter expert (SME) in at least one area of applications development.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
Key Skills and Experience required
- Extensive experience building user interfaces.
- Technical skills in WPF, C#, .NET, Kafka, SQL, and Git.
- Experience performing quality assurance.
- Proven ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work with a global team across geographies and time zones.
- Strong problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
Any Beneficial / Nice to have skills and experience
- React, Java and full‑stack development.
- Knowledge of Prime Services.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
