Person specification
Professional Training
Essential criteria
- Current Level One NMC registration
- Competent in medicines management
Desirable criteria
- Experience of issuing medication to PGD
- Non-medical prescribing qualification or willing to undertake
Training
Essential criteria
- STIF Intermediate/ Integrated qualification or able to evidence equivalent local package
- Trained to Level 3 safeguarding
Desirable criteria
- Competent in implant insertion & removal (Loc SDI) or willing to undertake
- Competent in coil insertion & removal (Loc IUT) or willing to undertake
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working within a sexual health setting
- Able to demonstrate previous supervision of non-registered staff, pre-registration and registered trainees
Desirable criteria
- Ability to work autonomously within a clinical setting
- Demonstrate an involvement in link nurse, or project work
Communication
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate effective digital and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate basic IT skills
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate evidence of providing formal and informal teaching sessions
- Evidence of negotiation and influencing skills
