Ignite Programme – Year 12/13 School Leavers
Ignite is an in‑person work experience programme designed for students who want to explore a career in accountancy straight after school. Participants will spend four days engaging with real work and projects in an Audit team, and gain insight into how Grant Thornton operates.
Programme Details
- Dates: Monday 17 – Thursday 20 August 2026
- Location: Reading office – participants must be able to commute to this office.
- Full attendance required.
What You’ll Do
- Work on actual audit tasks and projects alongside a team.
- Attend development sessions focused on professional skills.
- Participate in group activities to build teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
- Meet and network with people across the firm.
- Learn how businesses operate and explore career opportunities.
Is Ignite Right for You?
- Year 12 or 13 student (as of September 2026).
- Highly enthusiastic, curious and eager to learn.
- No prior work experience required.
- Interested in a school‑leaver programme in accountancy after school.
- Ready to attend 4 full days, 8‑hour days, in person.
