Nursery Staff Required – Redditch

Overview

Paragon Education is recruiting nursery staff in Redditch, with immediate starts and September 2026 opportunities across a range of positions including Nursery Practitioners, Nursery Assistants, Early Years Educators, Room Leaders, and Level 2 & Level 3 Qualified Nursery Staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development through play‑based activities.
• Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
• Support daily routines including meals, activity and personal care.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Follow safeguarding and early years policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Cache Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
• Experience planning engaging activities for young children.
