Lab Manager (Mandarin Speaking, £38k, Biotechnology, Cambridge)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lab Manager for a global bioinformatics company. The company is seeking to fill the role with a suitable person who possesses a relevant degree and expertise and will be in charge of the laboratory’s general management.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher is required, with a major in bioengineering, molecular biology, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of NGS experimentation and over 3 years of NGS production management experience.
• Strong NGS technical knowledge, with the ability to address technical issues on your own.
• Detail-oriented, capable of working under pressure, and upbeat and cheerful.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the capacity to make sound decisions.
• Working languages include English and Mandarin.
• Before starting employment, make sure you can commute reliably or that you have a plan to relocate (required).
• Permit to Work.
