Clinical Deputy Manager

Clinical Deputy Manager – Druid Stoke Care Home, 31 Druid Stoke Avenue, Bristol, BS9 1DE.

Salary: up to £54,000 per annum – depending on experience. Permanent position, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required. Welcome Bonus – £2000*.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
• Create and update individual care plans, maintaining clear and up‑to‑date medication records.
• Ensure correct staffing levels by efficiently managing rotas.
• Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and families, fostering a sense of community.
• Develop strong relationships with local partners to raise the care home’s profile.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
• Effective communicator able to build strong, honest relationships with residents and their families.
• Natural leader capable of delegating, mentoring and promoting excellent customer service.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to prioritise workload.
• Respectful and compassionate team player.
