Job Description:
A qualified counsellor with BICA accreditation or actively pursuing accreditation is required to assist NUH Life within Nottingham University Hospital (NUH), based at Queens Medical Centre.
Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support for individuals and couples regarding fertility status and well‑being.
- Support couples experiencing relationship difficulties due to an infertility diagnosis and its subsequent treatment.
- Provide implications counselling to recipients of donor sperm treatments, addressing issues related to donor phenotype, identity, openness versus secrecy, and the well‑being of the offspring.
- Provide implications counselling to providers of donor gametes in line with current regulations.
