Main duties of the job
• The A&C Team Lead is responsible for the day‑to‑day administrative management of sexual health, contraception and HIV services at Urmston Clinic and a number of spoke clinics throughout Trafford.• To lead on the management of a team of administrative staff supporting the delivery of a large clinical service delivered from a range of clinical and non‑traditional settings and to develop and implement policy for this area.• To ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of clinical services and monitor service performance.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 Office Administration or recognised supervisory qualification
- Medical Secretary qualification
- BSMS/AMSPAR
Experience
- Experience in an administrative/secretarial setting
- Experience of line management of staff
- NHS/Health related administrative/secretarial experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Supervisory experience
Skills and Attributes
- Experience in using computer packages
- The ability to deal with enquiries in a polite and diplomatic manner
- Ability to set and manage targets of others
- Ability to prioritise and organise work
- Experience of using Inform, NHS spine and PAS
