ARM is recruiting for an Estimator / Tendering Engineer to join a leading organisation within the energy transition and power generation sector.

This is an opportunity to support the delivery of low‑carbon power generation and battery storage projects, preparing commercially competitive and technically robust tenders across a varied customer base.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals
• Review engineering tender packages and client specifications
• Assess project viability from technical and commercial perspectives
• Conduct site visits to support pricing and proposal development
• Liaise directly with clients throughout the tendering process
• Support sales and project teams with technical input

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years’ experience
• HND/HNC qualification with 3+ years’ relevant experience
• Experience within estimating, tendering, or technical sales engineering
• Knowledge of power generation systems, standby generation, batteries, and associated mechanical/electrical systems
• Understanding of energy projects, O&M operations, CDM, and health & safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Full UK driving licence
