Mechanical Engineer, Structural Analysis, Aerospace – COR7519
This role is for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in structural and/or thermal analysis to join a highly‑successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation. The mechanical engineer will work with customers to understand requirements, and will design lightweight, robust, low‑cost, stowage‑efficient mechanisms to support structure deployment and operations in Space, undertaking all aspects of mechanical engineering surrounding the design, development and production, but focusing on structural analysis.

Requirements
- Good understanding of structural and/or thermal analysis, coupled with FE modelling
- Experience with software packages for structural analysis, thermal analysis and mathematical modelling such as FEMAP, NASTRAN, ADAMS, MATLAB, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one of gears, motors and mechanisms
- Experience within a highly‑regulated industry such as Space or Aerospace
