Job Overview

Air conditioning and refrigeration engineer required for our client in Gloucester, a specialist in HVAC and building services. Role involves diagnosing, installing, maintaining and repairing complex air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial settings such as offices, schools and government buildings.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and troubleshoot air conditioning systems including VRF, split systems and/or commercial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Support team of engineers and mentor junior staff (if senior role).
• Cover Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, including call‑out rota 1 in 6 weeks.

Requirements

• UK qualifications such as City & Guilds in Air Conditioning or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years proven experience in air conditioning and/or commercial refrigeration systems.
• F‑Gas qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• Standard working hours Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, plus overtime.
