We’re looking for a hands‑on Critical Facilities Engineer to join a growing team responsible for maintaining and improving large‑scale critical infrastructure within Data Centre’s.
This is a varied role where you’ll be working on plant equipment in commercial environments, carrying out maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping improve system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems and critical data centre infrastructure, including UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, generators, and associated electrical distribution equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and completing repairs across critical power and infrastructure systems
- Responding to breakdowns and ensuring rapid restoration of services to minimise downtime
- Supporting minor projects, electrical upgrades, and infrastructure improvements within the data centre
- Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and reporting in line with site processes
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in critical infrastructure – data centres etc.
- Strong understanding of electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair on critical plant and power systems
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical or electrical discipline
