Job Description:

Programme overview

As a Technology Engineering graduate you’ll help design, build and improve digital products that support our business and clients. Working in collaborative, agile teams, you’ll turn ideas into practical, user‑focused solutions—thinking creatively, solving problems and learning how modern technology is delivered at scale.

Over three years you’ll rotate across different engineering disciplines while learning from experienced Software, Data, Cloud, and QA Engineers. You’ll gain exposure to the full delivery lifecycle—from shaping ideas and designing user‑centred solutions, to building, testing, and deploying software used across our business and by global clients.

Growth and learning

The programme is designed to help you build strong foundations while exploring different areas of technology engineering. You’ll begin with a structured Engineering Bootcamp that introduces core concepts, tools and ways of working. As you progress, you’ll develop technical confidence through hands‑on project work, coaching from senior engineers and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll learn best‑practice approaches to coding, secure development and solution design, while building resilience and problem‑solving skills needed to work in a fast‑changing environment.

Over time you’ll have the opportunity to focus on areas that match your interests and strengths, helping you shape your own career in areas such as software engineering, data, cloud, cyber, automation or UX‑design.

Teams you’ll work with

You’ll join our Tax Technology & Innovation team, where we build and support cloud‑native products using modern engineering practices, automation and user‑focused design. The teams work closely with engineers, analysts, designers and stakeholders across the business to deliver reliable, high‑quality technology solutions.

Throughout the programme you’ll be supported by a strong network of peers, mentors and leaders who are invested in your development and keen to help you learn and grow.

Training and development

The training and development of our people is critical to the future success of our business. We have created a rich curriculum and learning community to help you build skills and fulfil your potential, ranging from an immersive 5‑day induction experience to formal training courses, leadership knowledge bites, learning journals, online courses and networking events—all aligned to our ‘learn for a lifetime’ strategy.

Application requirements

  • 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline

You’ll also have the opportunity to provide additional information for us to assess your application and potential in the context of your socio‑economic background and/or any extenuating circumstances, which may have a positive uplift on your academic achievements through contextual recruitment.
