About the Role
Full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week, term‑time only basis. Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training in the principles of Royal Navy Communications in support of the Weapon Engineering Department.
- Deliver training to groups of up to 16 delegates.
- Use data, information and insight on the performance of individuals to drive continuous improvement and learning across Royal Navy training.
- Work collaboratively with Learning and Development and Training Delivery staff to identify and support a personalised approach to learning and development, focusing on the learner journey based on accurate assessments of the knowledge, skills and understanding each trainee brings.
- Communicate and represent the needs of Weapons Engineering Training to the Delivery Team Leader.
- Support and advise on the piloting and implementation of modernised training courses within the establishment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Level 4 or a Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with maintenance principles of communications systems.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to work within a team environment and use own initiative.
- Knowledge of Royal Navy training and/or experience, particularly in Weapon Systems and Ordnance, is an advantage.
- Previous training delivery experience is an advantage.
