Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias

We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to join a busy site providing multi‑disciplinary maintenance services. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who can work across electrical and mechanical systems, delivering high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Carry out general building maintenance and electrical installation tasks as required.
  • Record and report all work accurately using the site management system.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and statutory requirements.
  • Support colleagues and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
  • 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • IPAF 3A & 3B certification (desirable)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)
  • Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to defined standards
  • Ability to read technical drawings and solve problems effectively
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to provide cover when needed

Desirable Skills

  • Multi‑disciplinary maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of building management systems
  • Experience in highly operational or technical environments

Shift Pattern

  • 5 on / 2 off, 6 on / 3 off (07:00–17:00)
  • On‑call responsibilities during shift
  • 7 days a week coverage
