Your Role

• Ensure maximum uptime of critical production equipment and site services through reactive and planned maintenance activities.
• Conduct electrical fault‑finding, diagnosis, repairs and modifications to high‑tech machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic test systems, including control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, National Instruments) and associated instrumentation such as load cells, torque transducers and pressure transducers.
• Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance on CNC equipment, including controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma and Mitsubishi.
• Support maintenance of process equipment, including heat treatment and plating facilities.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Understand and work with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and drawings.

Qualifications

Essential

• Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery.
• Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and drawings.
• Proven experience in a Maintenance or Service Engineer role.
• Knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.

Desirable

• Experience with a range of industrial systems and maintenance practices.
