About the Role
Associate Consultants are responsible for providing key insights and staying ahead of news and developments from main stakeholders. They work across sectors and projects to build skills and knowledge. They demonstrate good listening skills and have an analytical approach to identifying problems and potential solutions.
Consultants are responsible for delivering the highest quality service to our clients and play a key role in driving activity across multiple account teams. They oversee account coordination and demonstrate strong project and time management skills, they deliver regular insight and analysis.
We are open to candidates for both grades—Associate Consultant and Consultant—and will review all profiles before assessing them against our criteria.
This role is based in Brussels and applicants must be fluent in English.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively manages the coordination of deadlines to support the whole team
- Prepares for client meetings, ensuring all appropriate materials/reports are ready
- Takes responsibility for coordinating meeting minutes and tracking actions
- Compiles regular analysis and summary reports for specific clients and for new business opportunities
- Regularly provides teams with competitor, stakeholder and sector intelligence
Skills & Experience required
- For Associate Consultants, minimum one- to two years’ experience
- For Consultants, at least three years of professional experience
- Brussels-based expertise in sustainability, energy, and industrial policy—or a background in technology and digital policy—is a strong advantage
- Produces strong and analytical styles of writing
- An excellent team player with a collegiate approach to working with others
- Reliable and responsive with a positive attitude and willingness to get involved
- Generates good quality research and insights for new business
- A degree in a relevant area such as economics, law, political, social, or communication sciences is preferred
