Call Centre Agent (Telford, TF3 4NT)

• Salary: £26,500.76 (based on 40 hours per week)

Work Hours & Location

• Shifts vary per client; available Monday to Friday 8am‑8pm
• Saturdays (1 in 3 per month) 8am‑2pm
• 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
• Location: Telford – TF3 4NT (town centre, near train and bus stations)

About the Role

Orbit Credit Services provides debt services to help customers resolve their financial difficulties. We are an organization of over 200 employees based in our Telford office.

We are looking for team players with enthusiasm, strong work ethic and a commitment to 5‑star customer service. Ideal candidates may have experience in retail, hospitality, care or customer‑service environments, or be recent college leavers seeking a career in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers on inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional service to support financial stability
• Handle calls with vulnerable customers, delivering solutions with care and empathy
• Support customers to achieve financial wellbeing
• Participate in a 3‑week induction and ongoing training with small teams and a team leader
• Work a flexible shift pattern (37.5 or 40 hours per week) depending on the client

Requirements & Screening

• Native or proficient spoken English and effective written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high‑volume environment
• Availability to work flexible hours and shifts, including occasional Saturdays
• Basic credit check and criminal background check
• Unable to proceed if a CCJ, IVA or bankruptcy appears on your credit file or you do not have full right to work in the UK
