Customer Selections and Analytics Consultant

Utilise your excellent SQL knowledge, further developing your marketing career. Play a pivotal role in delivering customer selections across NFU Mutual in a hybrid working environment, 80% from home and 20% at our Head Office in Stratford‑upon‑Avon.

About the role

  • Develop and deliver customer selections for marketing, research, and service communications.
  • Build and maintain self‑serve dashboards for campaign evaluation, providing clear, actionable insights that empower stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Harness expertise in SQL and advanced statistical methods to produce accurate customer selections, ensuring compliance and optimal targeting aligned with key business strategies.
  • Serve as the go‑to SME for sourcing, analysing, and delivering customer data for selection activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in every analysis and report.
  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand needs and objectives, offering expert guidance and solutions that deliver tangible business value through insightful presentations, dashboards, and selection designs.
  • Communicate complex data insights in an easily understood way to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that every project is executed on time, to specification, and with measurable outcomes.

About you

  • Hands‑on experience with SQL for querying, analysing, and managing large datasets.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI, to create insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
  • Previous work in a marketing team environment with a strong track record of delivering results through data analysis and strategic decision support.
  • Experience managing a variety of stakeholders, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Customer‑mindset, always thinking about how to deliver value for customers and ensuring that the data you provide supports customer‑centric decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is accurate, high‑quality, and aligned with business goals.
  • Fantastic analytical skills, excelling at interpreting data and translating it into insights that drive business decisions and strategies.
