Senior Account Manager

Shortlister is a fast‑growing SaaS HR tech company that helps organizations run structured applicant screening processes.

The Role

Portfolio of up to 50 customers within a focussed market.

Reporting to the Commercial Director. Supported directly by a marketing manager and customer success manager.

  • Strong renewal performance across your portfolio.
  • Expansion of accounts through increased adoption and new use cases.
  • Deep, collaborative customer relationships.
  • Able to become the go‑to person known for their skilled application of our capabilities in the market.
  • Contribution to business strategy by identifying product, marketing and other gaps and helping to see new initiatives through to fruition.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own a focused portfolio of customers at different stages of maturity.
  • Increase the value each customer gets and ensure retention and expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across operational and strategic levels.
  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities across teams, use cases, or regions.
  • Lead structured check‑ins and value‑led conversations.
  • Manage renewals and commercial discussions with confidence.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally.
  • Navigate ambiguity as customer priorities evolve.
  • Maintain clear account plans and pipeline visibility.

About you

  • Proactive, commercially minded, comfortable operating without a fixed playbook and motivated to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience in SaaS account management or business development, owning and growing customer relationships.
  • Track record of commercial success.
  • Capable of managing a sizeable portfolio without losing depth.
  • Credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Curiosity about how organizations operate and create value.
  • Comfortable leading commercial and ROI‑driven conversations.
  • Effective when priorities shift or information is incomplete.
  • Clear and confident communication.
  • Ownership and follow‑through.
