Role Summary and Impact
The Global Investment team works with planning, buying, client leadership, commercial, digital, and new business teams across local, regional, and global levels. It supports investment and trading requirements across the global client portfolio, working closely with local market teams, global clients, and external third parties. The role will support several large multinational clients across the investment area, covering media value management, marketplace and inflation monitoring, auditor collaboration, digital process management, commercial liability, pitches, media channel innovation, and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of global media markets, channels, measurement metrics, methodologies and trading metrics.
- Build relationships with Investment colleagues and local market agency teams to strengthen market intelligence, tracking media price inflation, channel evolution, and broader media landscape changes.
- Work with Investment and local market trading teams to track media value delivery and support monitoring of trading commitments.
- Communicate clearly with global markets, ensuring responsiveness and collaboration.
- Participate in the Investment team, workstreams, and wider collaborative projects, including training sessions.
- Meet agreed KPIs, reviewed periodically.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a media planning or buying role, media audit, client business, or investment management agency team.
- Strong maths, Excel, and attention to detail; experience with large data sets.
- Analytical mindset: analysing data, understanding trends, a strong interest in advanced analytics and data visualisation.
- Knowledge of tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, VBA or macro writing highly valued.
- Strong organization, communication and problem-solution skills; proactive, friendly and collaborative.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across a wide range of colleagues and local markets.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
