Project Quality Engineer – Well Systems

We are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to develop and maintain systems, rules, and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

• During EPC (Engineering Procure Construct) tendering and project execution phases, verify contractual and regulatory requirements are fulfilled to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Monitor compliance with codes, standards and customer specifications (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, ASTM, NACE, DNV).
• Prepare and present quality related reports such as QA/QC dashboards and final documentation dossiers for client approvals, including investigation and improvement reports.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement through lessons learned and root cause analysis.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and provide training and mentoring to project staff on QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Strong experience in QA/QC roles within oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing or energy sectors with relevant QA Engineering experience.
• Experience conducting pre‑production/pre‑inspection meetings with clients.
• Experience leading investigations/root cause analysis on customer‑related non‑conformities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience with project and vendor auditing.
• Confidence in facilitating meetings, investigations, and reviews.
• Solid knowledge of the EPC (Engineering – Procure – Construct) project lifecycle and relevant internal standards (ASME, API, ISO, DNV, etc.).
• Product knowledge in Subsea Production Systems is an added advantage; knowledge in pressure testing, factory acceptance tests and integration tests is preferred.
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and/or ASQ CQE preferred.
• Minimum travel commitment of 10% of the month as required.
• Permanent work permit in the UK.

• 4 days per week from office, 1 day remote.
• Minimal travel (~10% of the month on an as‑needed basis).
