They are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to join their People team and play a key role in supporting the ongoing goals for business growth.
The Opportunity This is a hands-on and highly visible HR leadership role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will lead all aspects of HR across the business, providing practical HR support, strong employee relations expertise, and strategic people guidance across all levels of the organisation.
The role would suit an experienced HR professional who has previously worked within an SME manufacturing environment and thrives in a people-focused, operationally driven business.
Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will work closely with operational managers and senior stakeholders to support organisational performance, employee engagement, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees Lead recruitment activities for production, technical, and office-based roles Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation Manage employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives Oversee payroll preparation and benefits administration where applicable Monitor and report on HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and training Coordinate training and development programmes to upskill employees Support company culture, employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives Work closely with operational managers to support productivity and organisational performance Support and manage the HR team, implementing career development xwzovoh opportunities within the department About You Previous HR management experience within an SME manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of UK Employment Law and Employee Relations Hands-on, proactive, and commercially focused approach Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills Whats On Offer Competitive salary & benefits package Financial recognition within a successful and growing business Genuine opportunity to influence and shape the people strategy The chance to join a business that truly values its employees If you are an experienced HR professional looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business where people are genuinely valued, we would love to hear from you….
