Senior Business Development Manager – Optical Healthcare (GOC Registered) Location: Bristol, England, United Kingdom (Field Based) Salary: £50,000 Basic Salary + £12,000 Annual Bonus (OTE £62,000) + Company Car + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a global leader within the optical healthcare sector to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager for a strategically important territory across the South West of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded optical professional to combine clinical credibility with commercial influence, working closely with optical practices, clinicians, and business owners to drive growth, education, and customer engagement.

This is not a traditional sales role. Building trusted customer relationships• Delivering impactful education and training• You will work closely with optical practices, clinicians, practice owners and regional stakeholders, helping customers maximise opportunities within their businesses whilst delivering commercial success across the territory.

Deliver training, education and coaching programmes to clinicians and practice teams• Support customers in identifying and implementing growth opportunities• Develop and execute customer-specific business plans• Influence clinical and commercial decision-making through consultative engagement• Collaborate with internal commercial and clinical teams to achieve territory objectives• Building strong customer relationships based on trust and partnership• Delivering sustainable commercial growth across the territory• Providing high-quality training and development support• Achieving and exceeding agreed commercial objectives• Strong relationship-building and communication skills• Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset• Full UK Driving Licence

Experience within optical sales, account management, business development or training• Experience delivering education, coaching or clinical training
