About the Role

A well-established South Wales firm with a strong reputation in publicly funded family work is looking to expand its Family Care team in Cardiff. The firm has longstanding relationships with local authorities and a steady stream of care proceedings work.

The team is experienced and well-regarded in the local market, offering a supportive environment for solicitors working in this complex and rewarding area.

Responsibilities

• Handling care proceedings and public law matters
• Representing clients in court
• Advising on children matters
• Liaising with local authorities and third parties
• Managing a caseload from instruction to conclusion

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor with Family Care experience
• Have advocacy experience or willingness to develop it
• Demonstrate strong client care and resilience
• Be organised and proactive
