Salary: £120,000 fixed salary per annum + bonus

Lawrence Harvey is a leading payment technology organization. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to join a market‑leading provider, leveraging next‑generation multi‑cloud infrastructure to secure a Cloud‑Native Payments Platform.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining defensive security controls across multi‑cloud payment environments.
• Continuously strengthening infrastructure and application security through monitoring, hardening, and automation.
• Identifying and mitigating emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack paths.
• Partnering with engineers to embed security‑by‑design and recommend practical protections.
• Managing and optimizing security controls for performance, readiness, and effectiveness.
• Maintaining security baselines, playbooks, and detections for consistent defense.

Qualifications

• Deep hands‑on Kubernetes expertise, used daily in production environments.
• Strong Linux engineering and troubleshooting skills, applied in day‑to‑day operations.
• Proven cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi‑cloud exposure ideal).
• Solid background in security engineering, design, and architecture for complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
