Marketing Business Partner – Clients & Marketing

Baringa’s Clients & Marketing team is looking for an experienced Marketing Business Partner to guide the team through an exciting transformation. The role spans brand and market positioning, deeper client relationships, improved win rates, revenue growth and increased net margin.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with the Clients & Marketing Exec Sponsor and sector leadership teams to shape and deliver strategic marketing plans that advance sector priorities and drive measurable commercial impact.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of campaign and event programmes, ensuring high‑quality execution and measurable commercial impact.
  • Build a strong understanding of client challenges, market trends, competitor activity and Baringa’s sector capabilities to refine messaging, targeting and segmentation.
  • Manage the in‑sector marketing team (where applicable), providing coaching, development and day‑to‑day support.
  • Champion consistency, collaboration and efficiency across sectors by working closely with fellow BPs and the wider Clients & Marketing team.
  • Lead the creation of compelling messaging and visuals that clearly differentiate Baringa in the market. Leverage thought leadership, client success stories and insight‑driven narratives to deliver standout campaigns and assets.
  • Own the sector marketing budget, ensuring responsible management, cost control and ongoing value‑for‑money improvements.
  • Bring the sector strategy to life across the business—building alignment, energy and advocacy for campaign activity.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and the appropriate selection of tactics to drive a business forward and increase customer engagement and sales; use of the full multichannel mix.
  • Strategic marketing experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in management consulting sector.
  • Expert relationship building and network creation – internally and with external parties.
  • Ability to work across all levels with impact, effectiveness and influence.
  • Proactive in pre‑empting, identifying, resolving and escalating issues.
  • Self‑sufficient, self‑starter. Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Ideally CIM Diploma‑qualified or equivalent.
