The finance function is currently going through a period of transition, and the support of a senior finance professional is required to take ownership of the financial reporting function. This is an opportunity to join on an interim contract at a time of exciting changes to a market leading business. If you are a Qualified Accountant who is keen to prove themselves on a temporary to permanent basis, this could be the ideal role.

About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Solid understanding of financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks
- Manufacturing/Engineering experience (beneficial)
- Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a collaborative finance environment
- High IT literacy (MS Excel)
- Available at short notice
What you’ll do
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management
- Support for balance sheet reconciliations and accounting controls.
- Management of internal recharges, accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with operational & finance teams.
- Delivery of variance analysis with clear insights and recommendations.
- Monitoring and review of current accounting systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
