Vice President, Product Owner

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Product Owner to join our Enterprise Custody Platform team located in Manchester, UK.

Responsibilities

• Driving the development of key products and solutions with significant impact.
• Serving as a thought leader and expert within the product team and across the organization.
• Collaborating closely with other product managers, Operations, Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of product strategy.
• Influencing product direction at a strategic level, often working on products that are critical to the business or are highly innovative.
• Translating user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for your team; maintaining a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team.
• Owning the operating model and communications related to your product(s) end-to‑end.
• Ensuring that AI is utilized appropriately within your team.

Qualifications

• Product owner experience managing product roadmaps and working with cross‑functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
• Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision.
• Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, including writing well‑defined stories and acceptance criteria, and being able to provide daily direction to an agile team.
• Prior experience working in the financial services industry, prior knowledge of the Custody business and or institutional banking preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
