Head of Marketing (Paid Acquisition & Growth)
Full‑time
£40,000 + performance bonus
We are seeking a commercially driven Head of Marketing to own and lead our paid acquisition and growth strategy across LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for marketing performance, budget allocation, and strategic direction.
You will define and execute the company’s paid marketing vision, own demand generation, and act as the decision‑maker for all paid media and creative strategy.
The Role
You will lead the end‑to‑end paid marketing function — from strategy through execution to performance optimisation — with full authority over budgets, messaging, channels, and growth initiatives.
This is not a support role.
You will be the senior marketing owner responsible for driving qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the paid acquisition strategy across LinkedIn & Meta
- Define channel strategy, audience strategy, and creative direction
- Oversee campaign architecture, testing frameworks, and scaling strategy
- Own and allocate marketing budgets to maximise ROI and pipeline growth
- Set performance targets and drive continuous improvement in CPL and conversion
- Direct ad creative, messaging, and positioning aligned to commercial goals
- Establish structured testing roadmaps across audiences, offers, and formats
- Analyse performance data (CTR, CPL, CAC, conversion rates) to inform decisions
- Report directly to leadership with clear commercial insights and growth plans
- Identify opportunities for scale, efficiency, and channel expansion
- Take full accountability for marketing performance and outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience owning and scaling paid acquisition in a B2C or lead‑generation environment
- Strong track record improving CPL, conversion rates, and lead quality
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability
- Excellent performance copywriting and messaging skills
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset
- Experience managing and allocating paid media budgets
- Ability to lead strategy independently and make high‑impact decisions
- Confident presenting performance and strategy to leadership
- Self‑directed leader comfortable owning a function
Desirable
- Experience in financial services, investment, or regulated sectors
- Landing page optimisation and conversion rate improvement
- Tracking architecture (UTMs, pixels, attribution, CRM integration)
What You’ll Get
- £40k salary + performance bonus
- Full ownership of paid marketing strategy and budget
- Direct influence on company growth and revenue
- Senior leadership role with autonomy and authority
- Opportunity to build and scale the marketing function
- Freedom to test, innovate, and expand channels
This role is suited to a senior marketer who wants full strategic control and accountability for growth — not someone seeking task-based execution.
You will be trusted to set direction, make decisions, and deliver measurable commercial impact.
