Description

This role is a key addition to the Talent Acquisition team, supporting the delivery of high-volume and operational recruitment across the Etihad Campus. In this role you will be working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day recruitment activity, with a strong focus on casual and large-scale hiring, while also supporting permanent recruitment and wider people initiatives.

This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role, ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume environments and is looking to step into a broader, more impactful position within Talent Acquisition.

You will act as a key point of contact for hiring managers and play a critical role in ensuring we attract, assess, and onboard the right people to support a growing and evolving operation.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed‑term contract, supporting a period of high recruitment activity and operational growth across the Etihad Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Casual & High-Volume Recruitment Lead end-to-end recruitment for casual roles across Hospitality, Retail, and Culinary, managing high-volume campaigns and assessment days while building strong talent pipelines for peak periods.
  • Permanent Recruitment Support Support hiring across permanent roles, partnering with hiring managers on briefs, screening, and delivery while ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
  • Recruitment Operations & Process Improvement Maintain ATS accuracy, oversee onboarding activity, and drive improvements to recruitment processes, efficiency, and candidate journey.
  • Compliance & Best Practice Ensure all recruitment activity meets UK employment legislation and internal standards, with a strong focus on RTW, DBS, and fair, inclusive hiring practices.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential

  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within a high-volume or operational environment
  • Experience recruiting for frontline roles (e.g. hospitality, retail, catering, events, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Experience using an ATS and managing candidate pipelines effectively
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, particularly around compliance (RTW, DBS, onboarding)
  • Proactive and hands‑on approach, with the ability to take ownership and solve problems independently

Desirable

  • Previous experience within hospitality, events, stadium, or arena environments
  • Experience managing casual workforce recruitment and large-scale hiring campaigns
  • Experience running or supporting assessment days / recruitment events
  • Understanding of seasonal or event-driven workforce planning
  • Exposure to working in a multi-site or complex operational business
  • Basic data analysis skills (e.g. reporting on recruitment metrics, pipeline tracking)
