Role Overview

This is a senior new business development role which involves marketing the company’s services and developing opportunities into new sales for the business. The role includes managing a sales team, setting sales targets, and ensuring these are delivered. You will report to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market the company’s services through targeted campaigns to grow the client base.
  • Identify new business opportunities and present the company’s services.
  • Obtain a detailed understanding of client requirements and prepare specific project proposals, suggesting suitable materials and including detailed estimates.
  • Brief account management teams who then manage the project through production.
  • Build long‑term client relationships.
  • Promote the company’s services at trade fairs and work with the internal creative team on stand design.
  • Prepare monthly reports based on sales figures and present them at the monthly Board meeting.
  • Agree sales targets with the sales team and hold regular one‑on‑one meetings to motivate and monitor performance.
  • Identify industry trends and conduct competitor research.
  • Work with the production director to prepare business case proposals for new investments in technology to open up new markets.
  • Collaborate with external support to update the Blog, Facebook, and Twitter.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Self‑motivated, able to motivate your team, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the digital large‑format graphics market.
  • Ability to prepare and present detailed reports for board level positions.
  • Skills in marketing, business development, and sales management.

Compensation

Dependent on experience – guideline £50K – £65K basic + commission and bonus.
