HGV Technician – Day Shift

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in the repair and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles. This role is crucial in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and safely, providing excellent service to our customers. Duties Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on HGVs to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform equipment repair, including welding and electrical work as needed. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks. Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment. Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices as required. Requirements Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, electrical systems, assembly, and soldering.
