Job Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor | Birmingham | £55,000 – £64,000 + Bonus

This is a role for someone who wants exposure to high-quality projects without being lost in a corporate machine.

Not a rigid hierarchy.

Not a consultancy where you’re stuck in one sector or service line.

This is an opportunity to join a growing, well-respected construction and property consultancy with a strong reputation across the real estate market and a genuinely collaborative culture.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining an established Cost Management team delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, industrial, education, residential, mixed-use and advanced manufacturing. The business has built a reputation for providing a hands-on, client-focused service and continues to grow across its regional offices.

This role offers the chance to take ownership of projects, work closely with senior leadership and develop your career within a consultancy that actively invests in its people and professional development.

The Role

  • Delivering pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
  • Cost planning, procurement and tender management
  • Contract administration and commercial reporting
  • Managing client relationships and project stakeholders
  • Supporting junior team members and APC candidates
  • Working across multiple projects and sectors
  • Providing commercially focused advice throughout project lifecycles

About You

  • Consultancy Quantity Surveying or Cost Management background
  • Experience delivering projects across the built environment
  • Strong pre and post-contract knowledge
  • Client-facing with good communication skills
  • MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
  • Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing consultancy

Why Join?

  • Strong pipeline of varied real estate projects
  • Collaborative, partner-led environment
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Broad sector exposure rather than being siloed
  • Supportive culture with strong APC and professional development backing
  • Bonus scheme and competitive benefits package
  • Opportunity to work alongside highly experienced Cost Management leaders across the Midlands and wider UK business.
