Food Production Operatives (Corby)

We are looking for Food Production Operatives for one of our clients based in Corby – a well‑established food production company specialising in high‑volume pastry manufacturing. As a Food Production Operative, you’ll be working in a fast‑paced production environment, supporting the smooth running of daily operations. This is a hands‑on role involving packing, assisting in production, palletising, and general food handling duties. The role is physically demanding, so candidates must be fit and prepared for an active shift in a temperature‑controlled environment of approximately 12°C.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack products efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Assist in production processes, ensuring smooth workflow
• Palletise finished goods and prepare them for dispatch
• Handle raw materials and ingredients safely
• Follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area

Requirements

• Ideally some experience in food production or warehouse work (but not essential)
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast‑paced environment
• Looking for a long‑term opportunity with potential for a permanent role
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Hours & Pay

Panama shift pattern

• Days (6:00am – 6:00pm): £12.21 per hour / Overtime £18.32 per hour
• Nights (6:00pm – 6:00am): £15.26 per hour / Overtime £22.89 per hour
