Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – (Year 3)

Location: Hornchurch, London Borough of Havering

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent)

Salary: £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a calm, consistent, and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil who is non‑verbal and displays physical behaviour.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar 1:1 or SEN support role (essential)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil wellbeing and growth
