Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day‑to‑day operations of our before‑school provision. Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026. Working Hours: Part time – 7 hours 30 minutes per week, 7.15am until 8.45am Monday‑Friday, 38 weeks per year (no Teacher Training days). The role requires an immediate start. We are a small and convivial primary school with Christianity at our heart.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary‑aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
Qualifications
- Passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents
- Self‑motivated, energetic and proactive; will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high‑quality education and care for all of our children
- Experience of working with children in a play/educational setting
- Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one)
- Strong team player
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Warm and caring approach with children
- First Aid trained (advantageous)
