For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering and manufacturing business based in East Sussex.This is a great opportunity to join a technically strong team with a solid pipeline of projects, working on a variety of electrical systems and equipment used across industrial and infrastructure applications.The role would suit someone with experience in electrical design, control panels, switchgear, or power distribution systems, who is looking to work across the full project lifecycle in a hands-on engineering environment.Key Responsibilities Electrical design of control panels, electrical systems, or power distribution equipmentProducing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsSupporting design for manufacture (DFM) to ensure designs are practical and efficient to buildWorking closely with manufacturing, production, and test teamsSupporting new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to productionAssisting with fault finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvementEnsuring designs meet relevant standards (BS EN / IEC where applicable)Liaising with suppliers and internal engineering teamsRequirements Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Control Panel Design EngineerBackground in control panels, switchgear, or electrical systems designAbility to produce electrical drawings and schematicsExperience or exposure to 2D / 3D CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)Understanding of design for manufacture and production processesKnowledge of electrical standards (BS EN / IEC desirable)Strong communication skills and team collaborationWe welcome applications from junior to intermediate level engineers looking to develop their skills.Qualifications HNC / HND / Degree in Electrical Engineering or xwzovoh similarOr equivalent industry experienceDesirable Skills Experience with SolidWorks (preferred) or other 3D CAD packagesExperience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similarExposure to manufacturing, industrial, or infrastructure projectsKnowledge of testing, commissioning, or installationExperience working in electro-mechanical environmentsSalary & Benefits Salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)Permanent position within a stable and growing engineering businessOpportunity to work on varied, real-world engineering projectsLong-term career development and progression opportunitiesApply To apply, please send your CV to:…
